WM Dyer scoop North West Supply Chain Award in Training and Development
The awards keep coming for WM Dyer as the North West Supply Chain awards acknowledge the firm’s commitments to Training & Development
WM Dyer Electricals’ commitment to Training and Development is recognised as they were awarded with a North West Supply Chain award last week.
WM Dyer have a strong focus on the community and employing local people. They have recently employed two apprentices and feel that employing local people and encouraging their development is crucial to the growth of their business.
WM Dyer Electrical was founded by William Dyer back in 1994. Without the encouragement of Training and Development within his own career, the business would not be what it is today. He now has the opportunity of providing careers for others and encourages his team to be ‘the best they can be’.
Following the employment of two Apprentice Electricians this year, WM Dyer’s first female apprentice received an award recently. The success of the apprentices and the achievements they are both making are most definitely providing benefits to the firm, and they have suggested that the Apprentice Scheme is something they look to continue with into the future.
William Dyer, Managing Director said:
“It is a real honour to receive this award, and for our efforts to be recognised. We have been focusing on Training and Development as a company as we feel as though it gives our staff the opportunity to learn and develop their skills and knowledge, and add to the skill set they already hold. We firmly believe in investing time and effort in our staff and promote learning and training where ever possible.”
