WM Dyer make their Sky Sports Debut during a gruelling game between Accrington Stanley & Burnley
Fans in the WM Dyer Electrical stand saw Accrington Stanley move into the next round of the EFL Cup securing a win in Extra Time against Premier League side, Burnley FC.
It was a tense game between League Two team Accrington Stanley as they fought for a place in the next round of the EFL Cup against Premier League side Burnley FC. The fans watched in suspense as the match got to half time without a goal being scored by either side.
Into the second half, the nail biting continued as there were still no goals conceded – fans looked on as the tension grew.
The game went on to Extra Time and Matty Pearson scored the goal that would win the game for Stanley. Fans were jubilant in the WM Dyer Stand and the rest of the ground. The club will now face West Ham away, in their new home at the Olympic Stadium in East London for the next round.
