WM Dyer get their head in the game and becomes the sponsor of the newly refurbished ‘Clayton End’ at Accrington Stanley FC
WM Dyer has recently signed a three-year deal which will show their logo placed above the newly refurbished Clayton End Stand.
The club has removed all seating over the Summer, making way for a new all standing terrace when the season begins on August 6th.
William Dyer started his business in Rossendale in 1993. WM Dyer Electrical, which today has a turnover of around £5million, relocated to Accrington in the autumn of 2014. Their purpose built premises lie on the North Easterly edge of Accrington, in the village of Huncoat.
WM Dyer Electrical are established contributors to the community and local economy. Delivering around 4 new jobs per year, as well as investment into their premises, Managing Director William Dyer was looking for another way to exhibit his commitment to the local area.
William Dyer said:
“What better way is there to invest in a local area than to support its football team? When a local club does well, it boosts the mood of the area. The community spirit that surrounds Accrington Stanley is fantastic and we’re keen to be a part of that.
I’m pleased that the club is engaging with local businesses to offer these sponsorship opportunities. WM Dyer Electrical is proud to be connected with the club and, as a business that has made Accrington its home, we’re here for the long term.”
