WM Dyer Limited were involved in the Commercial fit out of existing Office Accommodation and a Coffee Shop within the old Sedgwick Mill – a Grade II Listed building located in Ancoats, Central Manchester.
Within the Mill, most of the areas have now been converted to Residential Dwellings, with the exception of the ground floor. The ground floor is home to both Commercial and Retail Spaces.
Royal Mills in an eclectic mix of history. Housing both Listed Mills and Modern Homes and Office space. Together they have become one of Manchester’s most desirable residential locations.
Every last detail has been carefully considered in line with the style of the building, with finishes designed to complement the rich, industrial architectural style of the original Mills.
Combining this blend of style between the old and the new, Royal Mills is a destination unrivalled anywhere else in the city.
WM Dyer had the responsibility of keeping in line with Listed Building restrictions as well as ensuring any works did not impact the image of any areas within the Mill.
Low Energy LED Lighting was installed throughout the Office Accommodation and the Coffee shop. This included containing cabling within Galvanised Steel Conduit and Trunking – showcasing the old/new styling of the building.
